I have noticed that there is quite a lot of new and " used " gear being given away particularly by one retailer . So cheap its advertised as $0 .

Must be tough to make a living .

Its so tough that the poor guys cant even afford to delist stock they have already sold and have to offer alternatives at double the price .

Poor bastards.

I wouldn't be selling gear like that , it would be just too hard .

So I guess i wouldn't buy it like that either ..

Yeah aint it Marvelous, I found that the gear was just sold , must be fantastic turnover, but there was anothery though, brand new just a bit dearer than $0.

It just clogs up the classifieds.
$0 to means it's probably more expensive than other people offering the same thing.
So I never even bother to open those stupid ads

Well worthy of deceptive retailer of the year, none of the boards with prices are actually for sale they've all "just been sold but i have a new one here" .
Anything that possibly is for sale has no price on them , even if you are interested you'll never get a call returned probably just as well, a Marvinless experience to be had

Yeah retailing kites is no breeze.... need to add 100%+ mark-up to cover overheads, spend all day giving free advice and demo equipment to noobs, then they go away and buy on-line or from your competitor.
On the other hand, product testing would have to beat working in an office, even on a bad day.
