In a NE go to Huskisson or VIncentia , flat water nice spot wind is usually 5 to 8 knots stronger than Sydney so take your small kites. In a NW go to long beach flat water great spot if you want surf take your pick anywhere along the coastline southerlies hit hard and move on quiet quickly as in Sydney they tend to hang around a lot longer.
Collingwood beach , you can also go to Myola drive down a dirt road and kite on the northern side of the river mouth that flows into huskisson you have to go through Callala beach to get there.Wind comes in early can swing NNE late in the afternoon and get gusty so get out early, you can be kiting as early as 10.00am from Gerroa to Jervis Bay is probably one of the windiest spots on the east coast when it comes to NE sea breezes as Gerroa means windy place in Aboriginal.Enjoy it's a great place to kite just look out for the Noah's there's lots of tiger sharks in the bay during summer as they follow the turtles in that nest , in saying that no one has been taken as their well fed!!
