Hi Girls!
There are just a few places and limited time left to register for this residential 2 day, no-cost, water and land-based kiteboarding instructional clinic for local women kiteboarders in Safety Bay over the weekend 16-18th December 2011. This event is being organised and run by volunteers from the international and local kiteboarding community, brought together by Kristin Boese's KB4girls Foundation.

The Clinic's main targets are to;
• Raise funds for our event partner Layne Beachley's “Aim for the Stars Foundation” www.aimforthestars.com.au
• Get female kiteboarders involved in fundraising efforts while improving their skills, motivation and confidence as kiteboarders, with a view to improving rider's performance right to competition level
• Empower women in kiteboarding with the support of the local kiteboarding community
• Reach out to women in need of support through “Aim for the Stars” grants
• Create unforgettable experiences

Details of the the clinic include;
• The clinic is free, however, we ask all participants raise an in-kind “registration fee” of a minimum of $250 personal fundraising goal per participant.
• The maximum number of participants will be 30 women
• The clinic activities will includes any or all of the following: group building, safety briefing, simulator and video coaching, on-water-demonstration, spot briefing, on-water-coaching, environmental talks, debriefing, prize giving and various evening activities
• The girls and women will be coached by female PRO-riders, which is not only very exciting for the participants but also guarantees a very high level of training
• The participants and volunteers will be camping locally, and training will be based at the Safety Bay Yacht Club
• The clinic is being organised and run by local and international volunteers, with the invaluable assistance of WAKSA, WA Surf, the Safety Bay Yacht Club, and Angostura Bitters
• We also would like to acknowledge significant support from the City of Rockingham

Requirements to you to register for the event include;
• Minimum of upwind kiting ability
• WAKSA membership or equivalent AKSA membership
• Reaching (or exceeding!) your fundraising target of $250 via your personal fundraising webpage via the KB4girls Foundation website
• Bringing a fun and participatory attitude.
