If you're into action sports and love the beach, the Kiteracing Oceanic Championships at Leighton Beach Fremantle is the place to be from 10 to 15 December.
Spectators will get to see the world's best kiteracers tackling a marked course close to the water's edge, watch spectacular jumps as part of the Freestyle Jam, plus enjoy awesome entertainment and festivities with a beach party vibe.
To ensure a great time, here's what you need to know! It all happens down at the Race Village at Leighton Beach.

Transport / access
Catch the train to North Fremantle train station (Fremantle Line), located a short stroll from Leighton Beach and the Race Village.
Limited parking may be available at public car parks located off Curtin Avenue. On Saturday and Sunday, some limited parking will available in a reserved car park off Curtin Avenue, north of Leighton Boulevard, for a gold coin donation. Additional parking and shuttle bus service, available from parking lots off Curtin Avenue.
Leighton Beach Boulevard will be closed to the public on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Accessible viewing
Disabled access is available at the Race Village and public toilets.
Race Village facilities
There is a licensed area in the Village & the Oceanics Bar - and plenty of food available to purchase at the Sunset Markets on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Official merchandise is for sale in the Race Village on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am.
First aid facilities are located on Leighton Beach.
There is no smoking permitted in the Race Village or on the beach.
Banking services
No ATM facilities are available on-site so be sure to have cash on hand. EDTPOS will be available in the merch tent.
What to bring
Sunscreen, water, hat, beach umbrella and your camera to catch some action!
The event is sanctioned by both the International Kiteboarding Association (IKA) and the International Sailing Federation (ISAF). The State Government through Tourism WA is a proud supporter of the Championships.
