Can someone explain what is wakestyle? And where do the tricks originate? Where can I watch them being performed?
All this talk of wakestyle vs freestyle has me wondering what is the difference between the two, or is it a giant w#nk?
Is there such a thing as cable-style because those guys are pretty hard-core but they don't have a wake.

I'm with you dude, really there is no such thing as "wakestyle" it's just a stupid word. As you pointed out what people do would be closer to cableboarding most the time.
Really it's not "wakestyle" it's just called KiteBOARDING. Their is no real difference between what people call "wakestyle" and any other style with a twin tip except that in what people call "wakestyle" you do stuff properly without putting your kite at to lunch. Well at least thats the theory behind it.
funny thing is they mixed up the two when talking about gear because wankstylers always has the oldest ****tiest gear and freesh!ters always max tech out like you all love doing
