For anyone planning to come to Indonesia in August and for the ones who love to join competitions, the Banyuwangi Tourism Board in conjunction with Bangsring Breeze Resort are organising the Tabuhan Island Pro 2015 on August 22 - 23, 2015.
There will be 4 events spread out over two days, freestyle - marathon - big air and speed trial.
The location is Tabuhan Island, Bangsring, Banyuwangi, East Java, Indonesia.
Tabuhan Island is a flat water paradise with beautiful white beaches and turquoise water and above all has steady winds of 20+ knots from May until the end of October.
This year's event will see prizes in excess of Rp. 100 million. All participants will camp on the island in tents and bedding provided by the organisers. Foods and drinks are included as well.
All you have to do is come to Banyuwangi where you will be picked up and transported to the location.

Just a little over 3 weeks and this year's Tabuhan Island Kiteboarding Pro will take place on August 22 - 23 at Tabuhan Island in the Banyuwangi regency of East Java, Indonesia.
Plenty of international riders have registered themselves, including some great Australian kite boarders. There are still slots available for this event, so if you and some of your mates would be interested to join, please check our website www.tabuhanislandpro.com and register yourself.
Tabuhan Island is easily accessed by flying into Bali and taking a short 20 minute flight to Banyuwangi. Alternatively you can take the bus or hire a car and drive from Bali to Banyuwangi.
