Anyone know how to keep the camera still when using a kitehero line mount for the go pro? Mine just flops around all over the place Does it work better in higher winds where the lines are tighter? I was using it on my 11m Rev
Suggestions anyone?
As far as I know all of the commercial mounts that sits low down on the front lines all have the "twisting" issue.
The three solutions I have seen (both DIY jobs) that may minimise this issue are:

EASY.... needs 1m of electrical conduet and 2 stainless steel eye bolts and 1 nut and bolt.
Eye bolts go into the end and the steering lines run through.
Pretty simple and light weight
Thanks

move down on the page until you see my post and a link to the album with photos..
No shake with those fries ..
Have stacked, looped it, dumped in waves, etc. Always pops back up the right way and no tangles yet. See the Velcro sleeve for the linemount to reduce the chances of the lines getting snagged on the ridges of the mount - it works well.

Robbo, I thought you'd seen this...
You could stabilise safer with a couple of pieces of kite line and two stainless rings ,would take about 10 min to rig and prevent being skewered by a piece of plastic conduit.
