I'd like to go an don't make paying the $297 for the weekend. But I'm not keen to pay for accommodation. Any ideas? It there a spot to put a tent, or sleep in my car?

Mate

there are heaps of caravan parks in Dongara, depending on what you want (powered/unpowered) campsite, chalets etc.

www.big4.com.au/
www.seaspraybeachholidaypark.com.au/

Camping outside of established sites doesn't win the Kitestock crew any friends....

Not everyone is flushed with money, the are some free camps just out of town, if you sleep or camp in your car around town you'll get moved on, by the ranger, personally it doesn't cause a problem if you respect our town and don't leave rubbish around after camping, i wouldn't like to be in a tent too bloody windy

Ahhh. Thanks. It's actually $150 if you register before 2nd of Feb.

The Priority Hotel is $120 per night.
Powered caravan or tent sites at Dongara Tourist Park are $40 per night. Non powered - $30.

The are a few wicked tent spots for those who are camping at the top tourist park, don't camp near the reception they've got the most annoying entrance alarm, my kiting buddy lives within earshot of it, after having 1 beer with him I wanted to rip it off it mounting
