Hello,

I am traveling to Australia from Canada to visit family in January (maybe November) and will be staying for a couple months. I will be staying in the Surfers paradise area and was wondering what kite size I should bring and where the best spots to kite are in the area. I am 185lb (85kg) Intermediate to advanced kiter, also do I need a fullsuit (what thickness), a shorty or just shorts and rashguard good?

Thanks in advance for all your input, hope to see you on the water

A 12m would be what you would ride most and maybe a 9m for the cranking SE's. Water is warm so board shorts and a rashie will do.

cheers

hahah, With that thick canadian skin intact you could hit it up with a pair of smuglers on and still be to warm but I don't recomend it. Shorts and a long sleave rashy, I'd suggest trying to keep your fair skin under cover the suns way more brutal than it is at home, and zinc is a must.

None of us recommend it in fact. Budgie smugglers are quite the faux pas over here.
