So hard finding info on kiting off the surf charter.
Anyone know if its worth taking a kite over whilst doing an outer attoll surf trip.
Was going to take a 14M kite, any info appreciated
Was there for three weeks March/April (Pasta Point area) in 1992. There was hardly a day when the wind was over about 5 knots.
Most of the wind happens in July/August there.
yeah cheers doesnt look very good for winds think i'll leave them at home.
Surf looks pretty lame for the most part as well..

Mate I was there in may 99 for two weeks and wind got up 18notts on some days.Its gets more wind from end of may but.Surf was around 3 foot and got two days 5 foot. So head up should be good.
I lived there for 6 months as a Kite Instructor you would get about 13 - 14 knots one day a week. So if your happy to run up the beach after every run take your kite (Im way to addicted Id still be taking mine).
If you search on you tube Kite boarding hilton iru fushi i did a couple of movies from the two days of good wind over 15 knots managed to get enough wind to have a go at jumping over one of the jetties.
Yep there was no wind lots of small wave's, fish, beverages and the smooth oil to carry you through those small days
Stay out of Mali that place is a dump get your transfers straight out of there
