Hey bro's.

What's a reliable weather web site for mooloolaba. I'm more interested in rain and temp than wind as I'm on a family holiday with no kite gear.

I think it's worth noting that Sunshine Coast is Mooloolaba. And if it rains on your holiday, ask your hotel for a refund, some of the finer ones offer a part rebate for inclement weather, or so I've heard.

Thanks men. I'm looking for a bit more detail on the rain. Maybe a 4 hours forecast.

windy.com gives 3-hr forecast intervals. Rain in mm. Unsure how accurate in qld but works alright where i live.

People there have been searching for rain for over 6 months... if you find some, people will be stoked.

Just watch the radar, it will give you a couple of hours notice of storms moving in.

Thanks for the offer man but I'll have to pass, this part of the holiday is family time.

Was in the pool today with the kids when the storm hit. Was ok for a bit then it got extreme real fast. Had to chuck the kids out of the way of the pool chairs and umbrella that got blown into the pool. 50m away from us some trees where blown down.

If you have an iPhone their generic weather app always seems to be pretty accurate for the sunny Coast. I work outdoors and use it all the time to schedule jobs around the rain. just flew back into the coast Monday night but I heard the storm was hectic on Sunday ......
