Hi,
I've never tried the Naish park but my girlfriend wants an Alana.
Do you reckon she'd be overcooked in the Perth breeze on an 8m?
She's only 55kg

Unfortunately all my little kites are fuels, which don't have that "pull the bar in and go" niceness that is good as a beginner, does the park have much more of this than a fuel?

I'm guessing she is looking at the 2014 Alana? The 2015 Alana is based on the Pivot.

Yeah the old one. I reckon 8m would be too big, but just wondering what you guys think?

I am 95kg and riding a surfboard. I used the 7&9 2014 park most of the time. Going with one kite is always a compromise.
Please check out the Pivot / Alana! I would go for 5 or 6. They are super grunty

Yes she will be completely overpowered. My sister is 52kg ish on a 6m park, the power is good for her, however relaunching in 20 knots is pretty crap.

Also I dont know how tall ur girlfriend is but my sister wasnt gifted in the height department so she can hardly push the bar out, it's pretty funny dosen't have much depower. A seat harness can be good for smaller riders as they have longer bar throw something to think about if you haven't already
