I have had my dlabs for about 6 months and I have only recently been able to give them a real try out . The 7 is a Ferrari so quick ! The 10 and 9 are weapons as well . If you can get Ure hands on one to demo. Do it . Super light incredibly responsive and very powerful . I have been using 2 sizes less than every one else and I tip the scales at 90
kg .
All the feedback from our local legends here in Auckland is that they are another step up from anything else. Sounds like you can get away with a smaller kite eg on a 9m day, the dlab guys are on 7s and 8s
They are posting some pretty big woo scores on them too
Of course they're amazing! And they'd want to be for the price. But then the SLS Neo is fantastic too, and significantly cheaper.
I've got the '23 SLS 9m Neo, which is still my go-to kite from 15 knot, and a real improvement from the '21 model. I updated my 12 SLS to a 10m Dlab this year because for my money a 12m kite is just too big to really surf waves. I'm 75kg. The 10m, even though Dlab and actually lighter than the 9, is still a bigger slower kite, simply because the windspeed i'm using it in, 15knot down, is significantly lower than on my 9
hey col I have both sls and dlab both have their own benefits just depends on the cash u have . but either are awesome. if you are going to merimbula u can try mine
