Hi everyone, new to the sport I bought a 2012 Crazyfly kite secondhand. The chicken loop on the safety (sick bar), the black plastic piece that forms the loop connects fine where it releases but the other end as come out and I can't seem to find out how it attaches back on. Guessing it's a small metal bar that's fallen out or something because it was ok until I used the quick release and now it won't reattach. Difficult to explain and find info on.

Sounds like you have a Sick bar.

Maybe go to your local crazy fly outlet,
If you need a part they will have it, and if you don't, they will show you how to use your own safety. Which can be useful sometimes.
If you are too nervous to talk to anyone maybe compare yours to this video?

this one might be older, but it doesn't have the plastic covering so you can see how it all works.

Hi Roller
The Crazy Fly Bars chicken loops are well known not to release under load
KP ended up selling the kites with Ozone Bars because for two years in a row the safeties would not release when you really need them to
I would seriously recommend trying to retro fit a more reliable safety release/ chicken loop

Ahhh right that explains it. Best look for some other safety release system. Thanks.
