Hi Guys,
Just in the process of moving to North Rebels this year and was wondering if anyone has an opinion or have tried the 2015 model compared to the 2014. I can get a 2014 cheaper than the new model, but don't want to miss any improvements they may have made.
I'm currently riding Naish Park, I enjoyed it, but I'm not sure is the kite for me long term. Have also riden a Cabrinha Switchblade 2013, and that's a lot closer to what I'm looking for... better upwind, solid jumping.
Any views to share ?
yeah i got a view to share
not wanting to miss any improvements they have made is ****ing hilarious
what an improvement? do 15 minutes of stretching before you go kiteing, thatll do a ****load more for you then the VAST improvement gain youll ever get then by buying a JUST RELEASED kite and its predeccesor and thats before you even factor in the ****ing extra $500-$1000 youll save there chopper
quitting the ****ing hype machine starts with people like you.

Exactly why I'm asking...
I understand the "new model" marketing crap, but want to understand the differences (if any) before I decide... after all, if all kites where the same one year than the next, we would all still be riding 2 line Wipikas, wouldn't we ?
Thanks for sharing your view.
Can't comment on the '15 model but my 2013 12m and 2014 8m are very refined kites and I would be more than happy with a full quiver from either year as I think the improvements from year to year are minimal.

If it's just jumping high and going upwind you want then a race kite will beat everything else you've tried. North make a race kite try that too before you get the rebel. Airush make a really good race kite too.
The rebel will be a better all rounder.
Hi
I have flown the 2014 and 2015 rebel.
They fly almost identical. I would not be concerned about missing out on improvements.
