Looks like OR is closing shop. As it's a conflict with alulla and they will make more money out of licencing Alulla. Makes perfect business sense. But sad to see one of the original kite companies closing down.
All the press release statements etc are on kite form. And massive discounts are now on around the globe.

Has Aluula fabric been exclusively used by Ocean Rodeo? if you go to aluula.com you will see that Ozone and Neil Pryde are now using Aluula.

Sorry if this is old news i haven't been following the development of the new materials.

From the info i saw on kiteforum it sounds like Aluula which is a public listed company are the parent company of OR and maybe going to sell them off? not sure how true this is??

No. They sold Cabrinha about 3 years ago. A consortium owns them. Do a net search for details.

Many other brands have access to Aluula materials, including Airush. Some news kites and wings being developped accross multiple brands with the new Aluula Aeris aluula.com/aeris/ which looks amazing which is less than half the weight of standard Dacron (74 gsm* vs 160 gsm*) * Grams per Square Meter.
