Never raced in your life? Do you crave more speed and competition?
The Brisbane Race series if for you. Simple rules, simple courses and no technical bits. Racing at its purest - and most fun!
Come on down to Brighton on the 14th November 2010 for an awesome day of riding, whether you want to race or just see what its all about.
We'll teach you some basic (very basic) rules from 11am in the hut, so if you've never raced before come along and listen up!
Bring your twinip along - for the first day we aren't using race boards (although we'll have some there for demo!) You don't need any specialised gear for this day, just bring what you've got - you never know, it might be a winner!
Entry is FREE for Brighton Kite Club Members (Or any AKSA affiliated club) - You can join a club on the day - and you can wear whatever shirt you like as long as it goes fast :-)
Sponsored by the two best kite shops around - Kitepower QLD and Briskites.

I highly recommend giving it a go on whatever gear you usually ride to see if it is your kind of thing.
As for the entry fee: it is paying for the guys time to set up and run the race, as well as (I assume) having a rescue both for any "incidents"
Don't knock it till you try it... (please!)
Disclosure: Not affiliated with KitePower. Don't particularly enjoy racing. Not a fan of people who can't share the stoke.
