G'day Laurie Can you let your forecaster know it's NOT COOL to Show Solid GREEN a week out and then pull it back to yellow and red as fronts develop.
Better to show yellow when you have NFI and give us GREEN when you have more idea!!!
Thanks
Laurie can you please explain to me why BOM are forecasting South Westerly's up to 30 knots for Perth local waters in the arvo tomorrow and strong southerly's in the arvo on Saturday where as the Seabreeze forecast is for strong South Easterlies both days???
I know there's a weather system to the north west of WA with the potential of developing into a pretty hectic cyclone which could effect the local weather pattern but the synoptics are forecasting a pretty strong high approaching from the south west.
Any weather gurus out there that can enlighten me??? I prefer BOM's forecast for S-SW WIND
That's pretty sneaky Laurie i see since i posted this 32 minutes ago your forecast has been adjusted
Your a harsh man Ray Q.
Laurie & BJW it was pretty hectic this arvo 25-30 knots SW from 4:30pm swinging to the South with a little bit of swell boosted by the wind
That's pretty ordinary Doc. Not really up to your normal standards but still well above Jemima.
My observations on Seabreeze's forecasting is banter. I use tea leaves strained through Yeti urine to tell me when it'll be windy.
Better add some calibration boost to the Gero forecast Laurie. Seems to be consistently under-forecasting... :-)

What is this 'under forecastng' you speak of?
