The graphs once again speak for themselves.
If you live on the Latte side and you like to kite, then why do you bother to live there?
Even the coffee is better over here.

Latte, smarte, its not about the coffee, its about the WIND.
Coffee making is not rocket science anyway and all the original and best coffee makers come from down this way.
The Northside sucks and the Southside blows, thats all that matters isn't it?
So why do any kiters live on the Northside?

Latte side
-Hot women on the beach
-Clean beaches &water
- Great coffee
-2 near by kite stores
and most importantly,,,, NO EURO KITERS ( not all are tossers but some just don't care about spots that arn't theirs)
+ we get taned by the sun unlike you south side kiters. Only tan you guys seem to get is from the staining of your skin.
Yeah they learnt everything they know from us southside guys.
We've raised 65c for the fan so far - so the depression meter is not so depressing, hang in there you MoFo!

YoMoFo has said it perfectly...
Kiting in Sydney is ghey PERIOD!!!!
since moving to Ghey central ive started playing badmitton cause its just so much more of extreem hard core sickdudesport....
ive been noticing that my wrists are getting more and more limp the longer i stay here...
North side people are not fat and overweight like the southsiders, we don't need 30 knots to get going on the water.
we have waves
we don't need viagra and up your nose delivery
we have hot chicks
we have nice beaches
we have nice winds
we dont have disgusting water
we dont have jet fuel
we dont have ship fuel
we dont have many euros
so what if you have a bit more wind thats why the designed several sizes of kites
and i forgot to mention we have balls and only need 1 kite for all conditions
I have been working in mona vale the last 4 years on and off. these days I dont even put my gear in the car.
I wouldnt mind a house there, but I like to kite so I will never live on the northern beaches
The only good kiting i have ever had in Sydney was at one of two places;
1) Towra (across from Dolls). The corpses stacked up just under the low tide level take the chop off the water. So flat!
2) The reef at Wanda...well, it's not really at Wanda...you start at Wanda and then kite upwind about 2km to that reef that pokes out from the National park. Dunno what it's called. Pretty nice wave though when the tide is right.
I've also had one or two winter southerly sessions at La Perouse, but again, there's only so much industrial pollution one person can take.
The rest of Sydney is pretty hopeless.
Dolls is an unholy abomination, just the worst ****-fight ever. And I keep getting told off every time I go there for wearing the wrong pants or something... and in the north...the northern beaches never have any wind except in a howling southerly. And it is nigh on impossible to get a real riot under way in Northern Sydney. What's the point in drinking all those expensive coffees if you can't get revved up enough for a decent hooligan style flag-waving altercation?
Sydney is a wonderful city, for a whole lot of reasons. One of the best I have ever been to or lived in. But it is not for kiting.
any coffee donations I have made have been free of charge and I've never made a penny from making coffee. In fact, I'd say I'm still out of pocket.. I've never asked for money for said coffee either.
