I vaguely remember Mark Angulo saying, about 20 years ago, that "you've got to remember you're just out there riding around on a toy." By which I understood him to mean, "enjoy yourself, but try to avoid the delusion that you're particularly special or wonderful."
Some nice shots in that vid, but one should be wary of handing microphones to kiters. Robby Naish was my hero in 1987. I still love his riding but now he looks and talks like an embarrassing clown with his teenage hip-hop hat and faux existential prattlings. Hadlow at least seems to have some sense of irony about the ridiculous "bling" aspects of what he does.
