Hey Nick, had an awesome session today some really big winds. Those northerlies were ok, managed to get out but only light. Today was pumping though, best wind in 6 months. Hoping to get out again on the weekend if ur keen.

Wouldn't comment if I wasn't here on the Sunny Coast ory.

It was going to be fantstic at DI Point today. 20 kt ultra steady but didn't quite swing around to Northerly. I'm sure it will tomorrow.

Are your seabreezes mainly from the south east, or do you still get alot of north easters. If so it would be a natural footers dream with all the rights you have over there.

We get both. On Friday we had 25knots NE and a nice 3-4ft swell.

Yes I'm a tight arse .
Qld Air is warm so as you know it is not as dense (which cold air therefore seems to have greater pressure logically)
And before you start, it is only an observation regarding climatic conditions not other states IQs
Although .....

Dave - where have the seabreezes gone to? Sunday looked promising with that storm brewing. Friday nearly blew. I'm going crazy here.

Nice forecast there, what are you guys complaining about?

Seriously, what are the seabreezes like at the sunny and gold coast?
Start /end of the season?
How strong are they?
How regular e.g 8/10 days etc.

Difference between the coast and the brisbane region?

cheers,

Sunseeker - Sunday the 17knt seabreeze came in to Kirra for about 2 hours assisted by the storm brewing over the hinterland. A comfort to the desperate.
