Hi Guys & Gals,
Ive had 2 one on one lessons with a guy in a boat to pick up the pieces out from Dolls Point Sydney,a great option but gets a bit expensive..Where is the best place around Sydney to carry on the learning process but not end up being dragged to NZ. someone mentioned the entrance, love to hear your thoughts
Cheers

Most people go to Dolls after their lessons, there's a pretty good crowd there and their fairly helpfull and talkative.
Try Canton beach on Tugurah lake (near the entrance) in a westerly.
Its very safe since the water is only waist deep for 300m or so from shore.
Where do you live? No point trekking too far if you don't have to.
If your in Sydney, Dolls is good, but learn the tide situation first (or just ask the locals if its OK to go out when your there).
I learnt at Brighton (a few hundred meters North of Dolls), and it was perfect. No waves, a bunch of helpful and friendly people.
If your across the bridge, Narrabeen is fine, just don't go on a big swell.
Can't help you if your located at the Central Coast.
Enjoy, a new era has dawned for you.
thanks for the tips, dont worry to much about sharks cause as soon as you do youll never go in the water again.
any other spots let me know...
Cheers
G
