Average means the sum average of a collective group....

Not the induvidual

I myself have been married for 20 years
have 3 kids

But that's just me....not the Average kiter!!!

3 out of 8, unless you count a POS 99 hilux as 'late model', in which case it would be 4.

it's a big net you cast!!

Everybody rides kites less than 2 years old...

They don't last 3 years

Anyone under 30 is still surfing or playing other sports like footy.

Clever way of choosing your profile though!!

Way off the mark.

What the average kiter has in common are:

Ability to think outside the square

Not scared of or actually gets off on physical activity

Perseverance

Sense of adventure

Not part of the throng or somewhat individualist

^^^ I'm with Japie

Whilst I know a number of kiters who fit the profile, I know a whole pile more who way outside those bounds

Maybe we need to increase the sample size...

I think us kiters have a bigger opinion of ourselves than is reality?

It's not hardcore anymore..... just look at how easy it has become to learn. Now anybody with a bucket hat, real leash and sunnies can ride a Cabrinha with a poo stance.

What most have in common is a love for the camera, an attraction to spraying swimmers (especially bikini clad ones), and the ability to bag anyone else who chooses to ride differently from us.

Individualists? maybe..... if you are unhooked, unstrapped and on a surfboard :)
