awesome thats the first time ive seen kiting at Teahupoo ,hows the guy on the sail board doing the big air ,he would of got so worked landing on the lip and getting sucked over
not a very good wind angle for kiting it. I guess if it wasn't so offshore it wouldn't barrel as well,
Is there actually an edit where someone gets barrelled??? All I saw in this vid was claiming in-front of moderately cool looking waves.

What a circus! How long until someone is necked badly...... Unfortunately probably won't be the pony on the kite, but the dude he's burnt. Don't mind watching Mitu and the natural footer with the cap, but happy to watch the rest of them self destruct 
Sorry to rock the boat, I don't like it. It's a surfing wave- not a kiting wave, the winds the wrong direction. Whilst its quite sizy.....the riders are simply holding edge.
Perhaps they should go find a better big wave with less surfers that handles a better wind.
Btw. As a surfer and kitesurfer I wouldn't feel comfortable out there regardless of my skill level. You would be worried about all the coyboys making mistakes.
Ha ha , you guys make me laugh, especially Rowdy the super surfer. Have any of you guys actually been there and witnessed first hand how powerful and dangerous that wave is to surf, let alone kite or windsurf? I have it's fckn scary as all fck!!! Hats off to those guys for giving it a go, even though the wind angle is completely wrong, and to the guy who reckons they were SIMPLY holding an edge, go try and surf Chopes and simply hold an edge without getting sucked up the face and thrown over the falls and cut to shreds on the reef. Yeah it's not a kite or windsurf wave, but what those guys did took balls bigger than any of you have.....

While I agree the wind is the wrong direction. You have to love the arrogance of surfers don't you? Its a surfers wave? really?
No one group or person "owns" the wave. Underoath said..

Perhaps since the wind is up the all the surfer should leave the kiters too it rush off and find a wave with less wind?
I reckon the poleys waves were the ballsiest! Faark going over the falls attached to a windsurfer!
