Vale Michelle Puetz.

Thoughts are with Robbie and his family on the passing of his loving wife and mother, Michelle.

First met Michelle in Sanur Bali many moons ago. She always had time for a chat and a smile that was worth a million dollars.
She really made you feel special when in her company.

She loved kiting with her family and friends. Alway made us feel like part of the Darwin kiting fraternity when in Bali.

I unashamedly admit to sheading many a tear when i heard of her passing. I think everyone that knew her will do the same.

May those clouds in the sky give endless right and left handers.

In the past, the tower in the Sanur lagoon has been a reminder of a lovely story from a few years ago.
For me going forward it will be a "Monument to a wonderful lady".

We are blessed for knowing her.

RIP Michelle

Ian,Erica & Col.

The Puetz mob are the back bone of DKC and have shown many a lost and confused noob the way, including myself.

Rob and the family, everyone that knew her and all the beaches everywhere have lost a good one, RIP.

Beautiful words for a beautiful lady HAAK

Otherwise the wife of "Puetz" - a well respected and liked voice on this forum

Michelle was very much one of the kiting community and contributed to it in a special way .

She was a kiting mother and wife who embraced the sport by talking it on - she faced her demons while learning with a determination I have rarely seen in anyone - it was not something which came easily to her.

But Michelle came out the other end from learning , passionate about the sport - sharing her stoke with her trademark smile and energetic support of her mates and her family
We also have all shed many a tear and more to come .

Our good friend Bobby ( Bali / Sanur ) said;
" Ketut ( from Putu's warung - passed away last month ) will be waiting for her "
It gives us great relief to know that a kindred spirit will be there for our good friend - where ever that is ....

I love the pictue of Michelle when she parked her kite at the top of the tower - a great story

All our thoughts are with Bomber and his family

Well said Ian...

The Puetz's have been a major part of the Darwin scene since the early eighties.

First windsurfing and then kitesurfing right at the early beginnings of the sport in australia.

Always good vibes and happy friendly, helpful times shared with all.

We were blessed to have known her and will always remember her infectious smile and laughter.

RIP Michelle

... Thank you to all for your very kind words!

It's going to be hard going on adventures now without my partner in crime, she was always up for something crazy and always gave it a go, she mowed the lawn like a champion and didn't care what people thought of her style as she was always fully stoked just being there.

Ketut (Badrox), you have a friend coming!!
