Hmm lots of spinny flicky stuff - that looks hard to do !!
But is it as much fun as riding natures waves .......

Not bad looks like a fun session. You are right there is to much slow mo, i like real time live speed for most tricks and for more technical tricks slow it down a little bit. Also zoom at a bit - it doesn't have to be much it's up to you, i don't like the rider taking up most the screen. Than you don't have to move the camera as much when the rider goes in the air to keep them in shot. Move around couple times so your are not in the same position (different angles). Add some chasing in there i really like watching that, you could run along the beach or kite behind them. I like this video what Ewan jaspan made couple of years ago, its fun to watch but does not last long which sucks. Hope i gave some good ideas and inspirational.

I like them both. I wish I could do that stuff, whenever I unhook it feels like my kite wants to rip my arms off. 2018 goals I suppose!

If this is kitesurfing, and the Title suggests so, than whats the wakestyle kiteboarding?

Sorry, not my style. Not into a knee braces...

10MOREKNOTS, i think you might be confused - I'm little confused to. Mat Black was asking for constructive criticism and idea's but it looks like he has deleted that sentence. Also i do like Slow mo but to much can be overkill.

I just realized that Matt Black has double posted. 10MOREKNOTS if you go to WA in the forum sections and open ( Video & Photos - The Pond 21.01.2018) read the top part.

Try get more in the middle of the jump, rider full screen for technicality, zoomed out more for size of the jump.

Nice vids all, but agree keep the rider zoomed out a little to keep them close to center frame. cant be denied

Hey it's all good fellas

Yeah apologies Aaron18 for the double post - my social media etiquette is pretty lame

Thanks 10MOREKNOTS for your comments

Dachopper thanks for the memories I was at Kite Jam way back I think at 24 seconds in that was me in the white shirt

Haven't been into my photography for 7 or 8 years and just getting back into it so appreciate the feedback - literally second or third attempt at videoing what is actually pretty challenging subject - ya got auto focus issues, a very fast moving subject that is totally unpredictable unless you've set up the shot prior and THEN you gotta edit it into something that suits a pretty attention starved audience these days - that's not meant to offend anyone so don't bother biting - it's just a fact.

And you can't be all things to all people - I get that. BTW when you show this stuff to non kiting people who's only experience is seeing the 'pretty kites' floating across the bay they're pretty amazed - they have no idea of the skill involved to pull off some of this stuff.

Anyways I'm just into sharing what I think is a pretty amazing sport as best I can and I'll work on getting better. I don't care whether you're a kite BOARDER or a kite SURFER, or a surfer or a SUPer or whatever you're doing on the big blue, I like taking pics

if you're interested here's a re edit down to 37 seconds - catch ya at the beach
