BIG THANK YOU
to all the WAKSA crew and everyone else who have volunteered their time, skills and effort, giving up something for the rest of us kiters.
Seems to be getting better and better every year!
One year closed. Here's to the next!!
Was an interesting night.. kind of like the Seabreeze forums were being played out by an improv theatre mob.
Kudos to the folks who got WAKSA accross the line for another year.. an interesting year to come tho.
Noice pizza btw.
Probably best to check the WAKSA webby for details/minutes as it was a bit invoilved but the main catalyst for Shakespearean tragicomedy was AKSA/WAKSA plans to go from an association to a private company.
Whole lot of reasons why (and some why not from those attending too).
Best to get it from the WAKSA folks.
Dear all
WAKSA will email our membership within the next 24 hours to advise of the outcome(s) of Tuesday nights AGM as well as an explanation as to the motions that did & didn't get passed at the meeting.
Just for the record and for clarification - one of the motions that was debated on Tuesday night was in relation to WAKSA members supporting (or not) changes to the AKSA structure.
WAKSA is not moving towards becoming a private company. The Association is, and will remain an incorporated association.
regards
Juddy
on behalf of the new WAKSA committee.
