At the moment we have a very strong cold front passing through Adelaide. One of the best spots, pre-frontal is "The Wall" at North Haven. While checking the webcam, to see whether it's worth going out, captured this image of what looks like a waterspout starting. What do you think? The last two is The Wall on a good day.

The Wall is actually the rock breakwater making the channel into Outer Harbour, separating North haven, and is one of our fantastic Metro beaches. Here's a little video of the place.

Thanks Coastflyer

So from what I can see on Google maps that is in front of the "Gulf Point Marina" and you guys park at "Australia Two Ave" carpark.

Looks like a sweet spot. I was a bit blown away by the amount of restrictions in Kiting in SA last time I was there.

If we were staying anywhere near Adelaide you had to drive a fair bit to kite or is that just from the Kite SA site.

Happy, yes, that is the correct location. We do have restrictions, but like Perth, we have lot's of kitable beaches, but also a very good relationship with local councils and Adelaide Airport. We are also lucky, in that we can kite all year round, except you need a very good wetsuit!!

Man that looks like a fun spot!! Does the prevailing wind in SA go from right to left (when standing on the beach facing the ocean), here in WA the prevailing wind is from left to right meaning as a natural footer when kiting in the waves i am always on my toeside/backhand, I would love to get some waves on my frontside/forehand

Looks a bit dodgy Coastflyer, would be one hell of a gust and might leave a stain in the wetsuit if one got caught in that! I love that spot, some amazing flat water close to the wall, boost central!
