F-One have a couple of products that might tickle your fancy (haven't ridden either mind)

The AC21 is fast but you might also like the long distance gun that they do.

There should be a picture around of the top 3 twin tip results for the last few years lighthouse to leighton.

They would likely have been holding their boards in the photo.

19kms in 23 minutes is pretty fast, likely more to it than just the boards though.

Good luck.

Nobile 2hd and shinn monk
are the quickest boards I've rode, with control, add a quick kite too

Have looked into the 2HD but the shops only have 42.5 & 43 wide - too wide for me in strong winds.. (unless someone has a 40cm wide for sale)

Already have the monk nudie board.

Fast boards make horrible landings... go the rocker and save the knees! If you want speed - foil.

Yep already have a rockered and soft board... not quite ready for a foil until the prices become more realistic.
Has anyone tried the Crazyfly Elite for speed ?

Curious, why the need for speed on a twin tip?

Flatwater and surf big air... specific board for conditions - everythings is a trade off.
I'll swap boards during a session according to what style im riding and wind strength.
If im goin horizontal loops in dodgy gusty winds, ill use the soft flexy Monk for hard landings..
The stiffer 'faster' board for reliable winds and buttersoft landings - makes no difference on knees if you know how to land soft..

Hey Whales, I traded my 2011 Nobile 2HD in to Kite Action in Caloundra (QLD) when I got my new board a couple weeks ago, they might still have it for sale. It was super fast, just too wide for me at 62kg. Board was 134x43. Might be a good option to get on the 2HD at a fraction of the cost of a new one.

I did see your board posted yesterday - unfortunately they think a used 2011 TT is worth $500... they must be forkin joking.
Reminds me of the recent thread on overpriced used tts and why they dont sell.
Thanks anyway.

Yeah I think they put brand new Cabrinha H1 bindings on it though which would be included in the price ....

Ended up getting a Nobile 2HD 131x42. Not the latest - but the size I was after, brand new and a very good sale price.
Will see if its a lemon for the big stomp jumps.. not bad looking either.

you need big fins to help you hold that edge when you're overpowered

Nope, you need good edge control when powered up and a stiff board. The bigger the fins the more drag and resistance = less fast.

These full carbon Nomads are super, super quick: www.nomadkiteboarding.com/index-wave-twintip-kiteboard-hybrid.html 10/10 IMO

Prior to this, the Underground Krypt (again full carbon) was great

We even made one up for #promotionalpurposes (!)
