Mine is the Slingshot comp-stick. Simple, light and I love the outter line hooks to do reverse-launches or depower when I use it with foil kites. The below the bar depower is awesome too, for my style in light winds. I don't have to reach over and loose my balance suddenly if a gust comes or if I am just doing a down-winder.

The Deck Bar in Nusa Lembongan is easily the best bar in the world.

im loving the Gaastra X2 bar, and I love it!!!why?-no poo tubes
-above bar trim
-adjustable clam cleat
-super simple and clean
-swivel in the QR (just sheet in and front lines unwind)
- feels really comfy. bar is thick but now its getting older its nice and flaccid.... I mean soft!
- nice leader lines to grab when reverse launching etc.

- most importantly.... I can assemble the QR with one hand 'effortlessly'....... the magnet keeps the QR system open and its just so user friendly.bought it on impulse because I needed a bar ASAP..... could not be happier!

Blade Unibar. Well thought out swivel, depower and quick release. Solid construction. Not $900.

Hey Slyfox. Thanks for that. Yeah looks pretty simple and slick.

I found this though... (old post but I hope Blade have fixed any possible issues by now)

i have no end of trouble with the quick release coming undone at the worst possible time (under load ) the design for it will never last . i pinned it so it wont release
but how can trust it once it has let go . so just replaced the whole chicken loop with a slingshot one . good as ,so yes you get what you pay for

Clean looking, simple, easy to reset chicken loop, trim line sits out of the way, cleat is robust...

P.S. Don't like the other Cab bars with big springs and/or ball chicken loop (game changers)

Chuck a workable stopper on that above and yeh it's all most would ever need. Nice bar agree.

Dylan, Kaos, interesting feedback on the Blade bar. I've got the updated version, not sure if any of those issues have been addressed in the Unibar 2. I've only used the bar a couple of times as it's a recent purchase. I'll report back if I have any issues. If the safety deploys because it's under load that is going to be a disaster.
