Hey folks,

I am trying to source 5-10 foot strap inserts (preferably stainless steel) for a new hydrofoil project.

Does anyone know where I can source them from?

Thanks in advance

They look like this:

Morrow snowboards or snowboard parts.com, make sure you get the correct sizing thread

Hey cauncy, thanks for that. I have found a couple of US stores that stock them (mind you $30 for a $5 item is painful). I called around a couple of snowboard shops in Sydney with no luck.

Just thought someone in Aus could be sitting on a handful of them they wanted to sell...

google "t nuts" easy to find at any good fastener retailer Australia wide. I recommend the ones with the teeth as they hold well within the resin

Hey thanks Puppet, a kind seabreezer has contacted me who has a box of them and is happy to sell some. I'll give you a call if it falls through!

Cheers buzingfridge the t-nuts were my back up option but they are not ideal for this project as I need the solid base to stop the bolt and water etc.

(second post was meant to read $30 shipping for a $5 item...)
