Hey all - new to kiting and my first post here (be nice!)

My partner and I have racked up around 25 hours now, and have managed to get 10 days off over Easter (late March / early April). We'd love to get out of town (Melbourne) and go somewhere warm, interesting and conducive to beginners conditions (and preferably cheap!) to keep the dream alive.

Destinations we've seen on the web so far are Australia (WA or FNQ), Thailand, Vietnam or Sri Lanka

Would love your feedback on these (or any other recommendations).

Thanks!
