Hi
I'm keen for a kite trip pretty much anywhere that has awesome wind for December/January. Don't mind the place or the duration of the trip just keen to get away and Kite somewhere awesome.
I've already done most of Asia so looking for some information on other spots where people have gone and rate highly.
Currently living in Sydney and the wind here is appalling.
Cheers send me some info

That time of year, fly over to Perth, hire a car and get down to Margaret River area. Plenty of variety and consistent awesome wind! Plus it's a beautiful part of the world. I like Augusta - Flat on the inside, waves on the outside.
I'm pretty much in the same boat as you Brian. I have 3 weeks off in December and nowhere to go. I want to go somewhere warm, windy and uncrowded (dont we all?). I wonder what the far south coast of nsw is like that time of year?
I would go to WA if I didnt have the inlaws coming over to stay for xmas during my break, ruining my fun.
HI Guys!
I'm a French kitesurfer. I arrived in Australia 1 month ago in Brisbane. I'm currently in Byron Bay but I plan a big kite trip around Australia until WA. I have a car (Wagon) and I'm looking for someone interrested by sharing this trip. I'm really easy going and I always happy to meet new people.
I don't have a precise plan yet so feel free to contact me.
Cheers
Remi
I'm now thinking of heading to Pran Buri in Thailand on the 15th December and will see how the wind is when I get there . It is supposed to be pretty good about this time of year, then I'll play it by ear on the other Asian countries and where the wind is looking good.
South NSW where were you thinking?
Frenchie sounds like an awesome plan mate keep me posted in when you might look at leaving
I went to Taiwan in January this year. Epic Winds ranging from 20-40K, again not many, if anyone out. It was So Cold !!!!!
