organising a trip for 6 kiters from sydney northern beaches to go west.

we are hiring vans in feb or march next year and hope to spend 10 days over your way , tips needed for

best spots with sites next to beaches
best beaches for waves
best spots for wind waves and beers ( few pubs on the beach would be a good start)

best time to come over, we all ride waves not bothered about flat spots just good wind and waves but not miles away from pearth.

cheers

March seems a bit late in the season. January is likely to have 2x more wind (with the exception of the Ledge-to-Lancelin Ocean Classic weekend). I agree that Lancelin would be a good all-round place (wind, flat water, waves, camping next to kite beach, beer, -just stay away from the windsurfers). Otherwise, the Kite Stock beach at Dongara, or Point Moore in Geraldton could be OK.
