you mean apart from the mud and swamp stench and rocks and oysters and no waves or nice sand...
It looks good at high tide, just be aware of the tide times and crap that is under the surface that can hurt you even though you can't see because of the dirty water.
It could be done, but there are many other better spots around redcliffe, bribe island and brighton that would be worth a crack first. If deception bay was all we had, I'd have a go.
If you kite there just make sure your shoes are locked in your car, and your car is locked to a pole, and the pole is bolted firmly to the ground!!
There is no garantee your shoes or your car will be there when you get back in though...
Well it's a ghetto suburb - and a terrible place to kite...
Jump on the bus and ride at Redcliffe or Brighton - it's worth your $2.20
