g'day,

thinking of heading up to Inskip Point in the near future to do a bit of camping, unwinding and hopefully a bit of kitesurfing, anyone got any advice about kiting around the Inskip/Rainbow Beach area? i have heard that it is a popular shark shagging area? i don't wanna be interrupting any sharks whilst the sharks might be getting a 'bit jiggy with it!' what do you reckon? thanks in advance to anyone who responds to this.

cheers,

haggisheid!

Hi, I've been living in Rainbow for the last 2 years, kite whenever there is wind, inskip is a great location. Sure there are sharks, our favourite spot is the stretch between inskip and fraser on an outgoing tide anywhere from SE to N is great or for SE around to NW go around to the other side where the barges are, flat water behind the sand bars.
Dont worry about the sharks they are well fed, had 100s of sessions here ,never been hasseled.
