A. He was just tired and wanted a lie down
B, He's starting a vehicle air conditioning business
C, He was making a TAC commercial, shouldn't drink and fly
D, He was entertaining the crowd with huge kite loops in 30knot gusts
E, It was set up

I saw some of that going on at DI on Saturday with one guy slamming into a car door and another draged into the trees and another dune jump where the pully broke an kite looped driving the rider into the dune really hard, winded him bad.
