looking at how to go big post , yes it is all timming but everyone knows you need an ozone edge , my questions are : are they a 4 or 5 line setup if 4 line are they say similar to cab like with bar nearly all the way to the bottom , lines ie front and back lines same length , and was there much difference from say the 2010 model to now model or was there a great year model to go for .

Thanks in advance

2011 onwards ,as for bar lines all even . And all 4 line kites 2011 onward.
All my ozones are tuned with a four finger distance before hitting the bottom as you say.
Otherwise the kites felt underpowered.
Hope this helps.

Hey east cc, what's the epic screamer like for jumping and all round? I got the edges, any similarities?
Cheers

Hmmmmm, this is a prime example of why it's necessary to pay attention in your English classes kids.

Different kites, the screamers IMO are definitely 'easier' to go big, it's an aggressive lift off the water too, good hangtime.

Everyone is different, some folks love em some don't, if you can, get a decent demo before you buy any kite - not a 20min session at a demo day.

And sorry OP, I wasn't trying to railroad the topic, just stating that you don't 'need' an edge to go big, there are plenty of other kites out there that boost great with good technique, each will suit a certain person better than others.

Personally with only 2 years experience, edge and screamer boost about the same. But edge is slower up and down. Screamer is more of a rip as eeastcc said. Basic difference comes down to riding style, screamers do loop easier and depower earlier than and edge. Both sic kites but do different jobs.

Thanks everyone . Yes did not get enough schooling had to work some of us had to . So at the moment I have a cab switchblade 11m and yes it boost but say 5 -6 meters tops in 16kn range and yes wanting to go higher . I like the sound of the screamer . Might have to get one here and demo demo demo sounds cool to me . I only asked about lines ect as have a great bar set up ( for those who need to know its a zeeco) that I use on all my kites , single front line flagger , saving money the best I can . There is a couple of edges in the buy sell and have no bar included hence all the questions . But now I have been side tracked into the screamer . Eastcc got an 11 for demoing .

I use to like the north rebel for boost, until I started riding c kites, now nothing compares to c kite boost. Go up quick and drop like a rock!

No 11 screamer, they only do a 7,9,10LTD, 12,14.

I only have a 9m or the 10LTD demo left atm, happy for you to try them.

nothing showed me this better than jumping on a zepher and it being a slow pull and float compared to the razor pulling fast and hard then requiring input to not fall like a sack of ****.

Edges go big but so do the C4's and Cats!
Used edges can be used on any single front line flagging bar.
