Hi

For you fellows doing alot of kiting unstrapped surfboards.
What size do you use the most, (wind conditions, weight,..)
I am 80kg and until now been ridning on a 6,8 surfboard, but now looking to buy a dedicated surfboard for kitesurfing and cant really decide on the size...
thinking mostly of the 08 RF 5,9 or 6, but also SS boards and naish.
Any recommandations?

my surf conditions are 3 to 6 ft waves and 15 to 25 knot wind onshore and side shore.

For kiting unstrapped I'm riding a 6'0 poly surfboard. Usually you will want to ride a few inches shorter then the size of the board you surf on. For strapped in I'm currently on a naish 5'5 but this season I'm going to go a little longer to a 5'10

For the bigger waves you might also want to consider a little less rocker & a gunnier outline on your board. There are a heap of new surf kite boards out there this year so probably the best bet is to demo a few of them if you can.

Hope this helps.
