Just do a google image search with : slingshot kite 20** and try a few different years in each search.

It seems like they are both slingshot fuel 2005 kites.

Hopefully no one is planning to be learning on these and hopefully they won't be sold to come clueless newbies.

Siding with cbulota here, my money is on 2005, because of the dump valve is inline with the strut, (slim chance a 2006, as the first batch were still inline, but changed due to the 2005 valves delaming, at time was thought that the centre creasing under load or under inflation was the cause) later years were adjacent and earlier years didnt come out in those colour combos

What bag did it come in? should be a dead give away

They are one of the original old school widow making C kites, If you are an experienced kiter, they are worth having a fly

I have a 05 7m fuel, that now hangs from the roof of my shed, it will never fly again but i have too many good/ bad memories on it to throw it away

2nd photo near the inflate valve shows an attachment point for 5th line so I would say this kite would be 2006 when Slingshot started their 5 line fuels
Agree with cbulota definitely not a learners kite .
Edit : first photo seems to be Slingshot Turbo Deisel of similar year due to pigtails at centre of Leading edge

Where is ragzilla?

OP those kites are not worth anything I am afraid. We are using spprting equipment largly held together by stitching that gets stretched and material that thins and becomes worn and glue that starts corroding after 4 years.

Turn them into hammocks or sports jackets

Nah man, thats not the leading edge, its the trailing edge, line kept the trailing edge from getting too loose, the 04, 05, 06, 07 had those

2004 on wards had that 5th line/ pump hook attachment

turbo diesel came later

the 2005 had the farking awesome shoulder bag, wish i had kept one of those! anyone got one they want to sell?

will try to get a few pics of my old fuels next week, got a fuel one-forty and a slingshot GTO at home, from when choicy first came on the scene, hands up, who remembers those names

Thanks all for the great feedback.

2006 is what I was told so I can assume it is either a 2006 or 2005. I have both of these with the black shoulder bag! Great Bag!.

I have decided to sell the bottom kite (11m) with its bag but will be keeping the blue and yellow 15..

No its certainly not a beginners kite at all.............I hope someone buys it that can use it.

Loving the idea of hanging it from the roof, not so keen on turning it into a jacket though.............

Where's the ad?

I think they are great kites in experienced hands. Don't listen to them saying "turn them into backpacks, etc". That's just a cop out

Any woman will do, infact the older the better! it means she only took the kite out once a week to go to church because she had the groceries delivered as the airconditioning in the supermarket made her hands to cold. Just tell your nanna its a new type of car doily
