Recently upgraded from the Comp95 to the Pro 90 Kiteboard.
This is the first land board that MBS has specifically designed for kiting. The first thing you notice is it's a lot lighter than other models (just above 5kg) as opposed to about 7kg for other models. The board is about 10cm shorter as well.
The deck is lighter and they added bamboo in the construction which gives it better pop.
The combination of light weight, shorter board and great pop made it much easier for me to nail my rotations and other tricks.
The single axle trucks are also lighter than dual spring trucks and the stiffness is adjustable just like with skate trucks. Tightening the trucks made a huge difference for me as by default the trucks are very loose.
I upgraded from the default set of nylon rims to the aluminum rims, which also gives a stiffer and more responsive feel.
Overall, very happy with the performance of this board and I would strongly recommend it for anyone who wants to get into land kiting or upgrade from their existing board, you won't be disappointed. The build quality is amazing and it will easily handle countless rough landings and power slides.

Christian
Glad to see someone else out there other than me land kite!
I have the MBS Comp95 and yeah it's a tad heavy but I still get good boost and landings in 15knots or more.
The only downside are the 8inch wheel hubs. I which I had 10inch grannies.
What kite do you use yours with?
Christian, where do you land kite in Perth?
Swanbourne on Westerlies, Nedlands on SE's and Attadale in Northerlies
I did a fair bit of land kiting around the rock walls of coogee beach marina and woodmans point harbour, the salt lakes near baldivis, off old Mandurah Rd would be an epic spot in a southerly, might be a bit gusty as the wind isn't coming off the water but it is very open to the south, it fills up in winter though
That's not landboard..... this is a landboard!
Meet my monster board fitted with Granny mobility scooter wheels!
To be fair the pro 90 is an awesome board for freestyle. Its short and light which gives low rotational weight for spins.
my monster board is low and wide with big wheels. It cranks high speed, rides soft sand and rough terrain with ease plus holds gobs of power for decent boosts.
Well this thread is not going to go far without some ATB footage, especially from CBULotas
I agree with gkawo. I cant wait for some good winter wind to try Christian's board ... or try not to break it ... We will keep you posted

Nice post!
Plums, good opp to show off your boosts here!
As for me - I need a good day and a friend to video me. Since I don't have friends, won't ever happen sadly.
