Rider: 74KG
Style: Freeriding, Surf, Wake, Freestyle
Weather: 15-20 KNOTS
Build Quality: 10/10
Satisfaction: 9/10 let see after a few more sessions!

My Comments:

I have had one session on the completely new Xenon Infra 2013

I really like this board it is incredibly clean from a design and build stand point.

Close up the build quality is fantastic!

I want to have a few more session on this before I offer up my full review.

In the meantime so far I like:

- Low profile 3.5mm fins are quaility
- Plenty of POP from the stiffer mid section - As much as the North Gambler which is a beefed up kiteboard
- LIGHT even with a set of bindings on top the thing is incredibly light meaning excellent low end performance
- Set up option - There are two options and the wider setting is pretty much bang on for a wider stance

Here are a few pictures of the board (FULL REVIEW COMING SOON)

I've got the 2012, mad board! With ronix boots its still as light as my old board! When I kill it ill def be getting the 2013. Mine came with 50mm fins but 35mm would be much better.

Just courious I got a laluz 2013 I was just wondering if you could clarify some of the differences between the laluz and infra if you have ridden both

The main difference is that the laluz has a lot more core flex, with less rocker, so less suited to wake style and boots.

Cool so does that also mean that wakestyle boards are less suited to choppy waters?

Everything about freestyle boards would tell you Yes to that question.
But I have 2 customers who absolutely love their freestylers in the waves.
Again its all a matter whatever rocks your boat??

If you are after a more aggressive riding profile then this is the best Xenon board out of the range.

It has increased rocker over last years and the flex profile is much stiffer than the La Luz.

This board gives you heaps more pop over the La Luz and is better suited to flat water conditions. If you are going to use boots with the board I suggest going for the 136cm as a minimum.

I have had a few sessions on this bad boy and I am pretty happy so far. Dont see any reason not to have a La Luz and Infra in the quiver.

Just wandered if you could comment on the new straps/pads.

I have small feet and love the North NTT's for the different sizings they do now.... really locked in.
I noticed Xenon are now making a few different sizes.

Do they hold up against the NTT's. Unfortunately the NTT's only really give you good stance options if you put them on a north board.

Also, how would you say the Infra compares to the gambler through the crud?

Would you say the Infra is a board you could use both boots or straps on quite easily and still get good pop/performance as I like to mix it up a bit depending on where i'm riding.
