on first impressions the board has a sic 3d look and with the white bindings in the right spot with the black and white stripes, you wont hesitate to want to try this board and understand why xenon has no need for fancy graphics.

once in the water you don't have to faff around with the kite trying to get the bindings on as they slip on easily and once your feet are inside they are incredibly comfy (could have gone a size bigger though as my toes were a bit squished). once riding it was really smooth and even though it was choppy the waves didn't hit the back of the bindings unlike some. as i started going for tricks i noticed that the board and bindings felt super light and it didnt at all feel like you had two weights on your feet but still heavy enough to produce some momentum. at the moment i own a 2010 xenon laluz 132, the infra is a bit heavier on its own and seems tougher than the 2010 laluz and has a slightly higher amount of pop. with the amount of wind that was there i preferred the bindings but the infra can be fitted with straps for lighter winds or if you just prefer them.

overall the infra is a great board and even though i havent ridden it with straps i think it would still hold its own as a freestyle board. if you are intermediate to advanced rider i would push u to give this board a try.

cheers
