Airlie beach or Bowen with this weekend?

Sounds like good wind is coming on the weekend and can anyone suggest some good spot around Airlie and Bowen.

Wind!
South of Airlie you have Conway beach or midge pt - high tide at lunch so arvo session best
North is the Don river or Alva beach

Thanks, man. Sounds more like north, Alva or Don, let's have a look.
Wondering that where I can find others kiters, because Conway sounds like crocodile, so when I'm going as a tourist alone with them, never know what's next ... like a seafood

My guess is I reckon the wind wont be here in NQ until Sat lunch time, unfortunately we have the run out tide so it may not happen at all, looks like Alva will fill in on dark SAT so maybe a night kite is on No crocs here. otherwise sun lunch. The bowen boys and girls should be frothing with the forecast.

Yeesh, that's true. At the moment 8:15 am and wind is rising up very slowly.

Thank You for answers, Bowen is good place for surfing. Seems no crocs and cool kitesurf store on Front beach

Had a great time in 3 days kiting and was nice to catch up a friendly Wallis
