Hi all you queenslanders :)
I'm coming to Gold Coast for a couple days end of July and wouldn't mind sampling the local conditions. Just wondering whether it's worth bringing the gear this time of year, and what size to bring :)
I'm a twintip rider and usually crank it on a 9 in wa... Got a choice of 8,9, or 10 to bring. Whatd'yas reckon ??
Over to you..

Kool!..........The more kooks the better I reckon
U will fit right in.......just try not to annoy the protected species, u know......migrating whales, great whites, poley's
Bring the 10m and buy a lotto ticket, cos if ur only here for two days, u have a better chance of winning lotto than kiting........
P.S. Still, I would never leave home without my kit, however slim my chances were
Enjoy ur stay and Good Luck!
I didn't know we were endangered???
Well said though Gilly.
You sure are Rimo
Ok I'm there tues next wk till fri. Looks like thurs might be the go..
What do the locals say? To bring the gear or not? Any hire options around currumbin?
Cheers all....
Man, it's always the way..........hopefully u can squeeze one more day in 'Roast
No hire options as far as I know of, if u can stay on for Saturday PM me as I have an 8m, spare harness and an old board u can borrow
Bah.. Think I'll just wait for better conditions when I get home :)
Thanks heaps for the offer Gilly. Same stands if you make it to WA :)

Fark, this thread makes me feel like going to Brisvegas just to sample your boards and kites for free , with a big fat latino toothless smile and thanks for nothing, then come back up here and spend my money locally!
