Hi all,
Thinking of a DI day trip from Noosa end on Friday 14th or Saturday. High tide is 1:11/2:15pm and they are small tides – 1.57/1.53.

Questions for those who have been up recently –
1. how much beach is there currently – is there enough for parked vehicles over the high tide?
2. how big is the lagoon ATM?

Hi Harlie,

lots of room for cars on high tide if you turn left out of the liesha track and the lagoon is defiantly kiteable from high tide through till prob 3/4 of a low tide and even then you have the deep spots, it will just be getting smelly haha, its actually quite similar to last year from memory, I had a light wind session there about a month and a bit ago with no one else there and a mate just came back last weekend after getting all those sweet 30knott northerlys and he said only 2 other people were there.

Oh, yeah….

I assume that was a pretty big tide? Given we haven’t seen any real big seas it should look pretty much the same… Thanks glendog

That photo was taken about an hour before high tide. was no problem driving over the other side and up the beach even at the top of the tide.

Ohh yeh that sticker is 1 of a kind. My brother is a sign writer so i got him to make it for me.

Tona boards are made from the scraps that land on the floor at the LIQUID FORCE company.
