NKL MELB. has EPIC FRIDAY!

Round 6 Melbourne. Day 1:

Freestylers and wave riders all chose to head to 13th Beach Barwon Heads for an EPIC Friday of tight competition in 20+ knot wind. The CABRINHA FX BIG AIR feature was also highlight with massive boosts and trickery that had everyone in awe. The die hard competitors were joined by lots of newcomers to show off their skills and everyone was glad to have them on board.

Melbourne's kiteboarding fun does not stop as we lead into the weekend - from 11am - 12.30pm on Saturday and Sunday - the NKL Instructors set up for " HAVE-A-GO" at ST KILDA BEACH WEST - where the public can have FREE intro lessons. "We carry 8 Trainer kites supplied by OZONE, BWSurf and NORTH and find this form of introduction to the very popular with kids of all ages," said NKL Judge Jarrett Stock.

A Hot weather forecast and the hope that a sea-breeze at St Kilda Beach WEST might eventuate by 2pm - will once again showcase kiteboarding tricks in an ALLSTAR round robin. The CABRINHA FX BIG AIR feature may also be highlighted if the wind really kicks in!

Results are kept a secret until Sunday Presentations at ST KILDA Beach at 2pm.
Winners then attend the GRAND FINAL Showdown held 2 weeks later on the Gold Coast to see if they can become the first Classic Holidays NATIONAL KITEBOARDING GRAND CHAMPION of Season 1.
