The 57th running of The Cockburn Sound Regatta is one of the largest sailing events on the west coast and we are proud to announce that Kiteboard racing will be included for 2 days at this years event..
A combined formula and foil kite class will compete along side the 9 other sailing classes.
Kite nominations will be online later this week.
All Early nominations go into the the draw for a Dhuwest Inflatable.

Just to confirm the details for the Kiteboard (formula/foil)
The fee for the Kiteboard is discounted to $150.
This differs from the price indicated on the Notice of Race, the CSR website, nomination forms and conformational email.
Please ignore the full price.
This fee includes racing on Sunday 28th and Monday 29th December 2014.
Nominate and PAY before 30th November to be included in the early nomination draw for a Dhuwest air-deck inflatable.
One Buffet Dinner voucher will be included with each nomination, which can be used anytime during the Regatta.
This differs from the Notice of Race, the CSR website and nomination forms. NO breakfast voucher is included.
Friday 26th is Indian with Bollywood dancers
Saturday 27th is Seafood Extravaganza
Sunday 28th is Lamb Spit Roast
Monday 29th is Mexican
Each Kiter will be issued with a 2014 57th Cockburn Sound Regatta skippers bag including the Sailing Instructions etc.
When the Kiteboards are not racing they are welcome to crew aboard the yachts.
Crew are always needed so just put your name on the website’s Crew Available list

Daily presentations will be made each evening after racing and the overall presentation for Kiteboards will be included in the CSR Presentations on the afternoon of Tuesday 30th.
The morning of the 30th all yachts will compete in an around the buoys race which is a great opportunity for Kiters to crew.

MENTAL conditions!!! Super gusty, reading from start boat had gusts over 30knots. Other classes cancelled racing...
We knocked out 4 back-to-back races!
AWESOME work everybody, most of the fleet lining up for the very first time, never having rounded a course before!! Big learning day which heaps of action, close racing, on course taunting, EPIC crashes, tangles and smiles. Starts were getting closer and closer each race, and times improving with each race. Well done to all!!!

Final Results for the 57th Cockburn Sound Regatta
Congrats to Eneour Puill-stephan for taking top spot in Foil & Overall with 9 straight bullets.
And a big congrats to Damian Gough taking it to the foils and also winning the formula division.
Well done to everybody, 2 big days of racing and the progression of the new fleet was very noticeable, even commented upon by many at the the presentation after.
The ladies made sure the men didn't have it all their own way and put up a really great performance!
Juniors Mani & Rex impressed and both had great speed around the course.
