Hi MidWest kiters,
A few of us have got together to have a crack at bringing Geraldton Airlines back to life. The name was a bit confusing and google takes you to flights/airports so we have renamed it GeroKiteCrew for want of a better name.

We have very modest goals at the moment. To have some sort of an event this year, we are organising an afternoon out at Horrocks on Saturday Feb 18th. Very low key, there will be a bbq, a few spot prizes and a down winder to Little Bay with transport back to Horrocks. Everyone is welcome to attend whether a GeroKiteCrew member or not.

We've set up a slack page for general chats and banter, similar to the Perth one setup by the upwind kiter dude. You can find instructions on how to access it below. Its a pain to setup but works well once you get it working:

www.facebook.com/gerokitecrew/videos/1379482158730925/

We have a facebook page for the event and GeroKiteCrew in general:

Hope to see a few people there. I guess that kills the wind for the 18th!

Cheers

Sounds like a great idea what you are doing and would be keen to do a few things like that up your way(mandurah gets a bit boring) . Are you going to keep everyone up to date on here, I'm not on Facebook

Its looking like we should have reasonable conditions at Horrocks on Saturday. If that swell holds up its going to be fun!

Hi everyone, we just arrived in Perth and head north today. If "everyone" includes kiters from the other end of the world we'd be more than happy to join you
As we don't know the spot jet - how do we get there?

Guys,
Forecast has gone from bad to worse so I'm cancelling Saturdays event at Horrocks.
There is the possibility of a March event at Corro, we will keep you posted.

Enjoy the beautiful warm (windless) day on the beach!

Cheers
