Details in the NOR.
Small budget event, need to bring your own flares.
PLB required by law as advised by DOT, but we want kiters to wear flares as we'd prefer to localise any potential rescue rather than any alarms going off in Canberra first.

Weather Check:
The BOM MetEye web-page has been getting a serious workout this week.
We looking good for wind, with first race expected to be in lighter conditions and building for the second race. As per NOR its not going to be a cake walk, you may need to work to get to the northern Carnac mark if its WSW-SW for the first race.
As Happy Gimore say, "Play it as it lies", we going racing!!

Dude, if everyone had that attitude no one would do it. So I really encourage you kite guys for something different to get there next year, even if you ain't gonna win!
1. Always will only be one winner.
2. Perhaps next year the kite division should look at foiling v's non foiling with a prize for each.
3. Our Tornado is worth closer to 30k than 10k.
4. I really don't care about the cash.
5. My $1000 windsurfer will do 40kt. The Tornado wont even go close to that.
6. Torvar was very impressive on the foiling kite, congratulations to him.
7. Even though we have no chance of keeping up I will be taking the 30k Tornado next year, so I hope you bring the 1000$ kite. That's what makes it a fun event.
Cheers!
